About GAMP

The German-Arab Master’s Programmes (GAMP) are the result of the German development cooperation with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The post-graduate study programmes were established in response to the lack of qualified Arabic and German specialists and executives for international cooperation in the fields of:

  • Water
  • Renewable energy
  • Economic reform
  • Education

The GAMP target young professionals who have already gained some professional experience and want to obtain further qualifications for working in international cooperation. Consequently, five master’s programmes are available within different specialist fields:

While the five master’s programmes differ in their specialist focus, they jointly emphasise:

  • Intercultural skills
  • Management skills
  • The MENA region
  • Practical application
  • International development cooperation
